This is a maintenance wax, and serves as a basic protection to moisture.
Our Antique Iron products may show light surface Rust if exposed to damp environments.
If necessary, this can be easily removed by using light oil (such as WD40) and a fine grade wire wool.
Product will age naturally and develop own Patina over time.
However you can paint to your choice of colour
Please wipe down with cotton cloth using WD40 and then paint

Item was pretty good, there was rust on all pieces that needed removing and re-coating. But not so much as to send it back.

Beautifully made brackets which we used for a new hand-crafted walnut banister. Perfect for the overall design. The seller originally sent screws that were too short for the wall side but later sourced and sent us plenty of longer ones. Great product and great communication via Etsy website - thank you
