Very simple to install just use the brass screw terminals to attach your wires.
Then fix the backing plate to wall or door frame with screws provided.
Frame will require drilling for fitting contact points and to provide a flush finish

Unfortunately I didn't measure the space where I was planning to mount this, but it's so cute I don't want to return it yet and will hang on to it in cae we move in the future.
