These Hand forged hinges are traditionally made, they are an complement for period homes, barn conversions, cottage and for restoration projects.
Hand finished with Clear beeswax or black beeswax finish
Suitable for interior use
Fixing a H-Hinge is very easy as they are surface fixed with screws to the frame and the door, they can also be used in a bi-folding situation such as shutters.
Please note: Beeswax is used as a natural protective layer and can be sticky to touch. Excess wax can be removed with a mild solvent and a soft cloth.
These hinges have a beeswax finish which protects the metal and provides a matte finish that can be buffed to a soft sheen.
To look after your hinges just give them a rub with a soft cloth to revive the sheen.
If required, you can add extra beeswax such as a good quality beeswax for furniture.
