Pair of Serpent cast iron Shelf Brackets comes with fixing screws

A Victorian decorative shelf bracket that depicts a jumping fish or serpent, the scales of which are nicely picked out in the casting. These shelf supports were originally cistern brackets but are commonly used today as versatile shelving brackets.

Made using traditional sand casting techniques, the fish brackets are as authentic today as in the Victorian times. The natural iron finish is protected with a light oil which can be maintained or wiped away.
