    This matchbox holder is the perfect companion for any fireside. Made from robust cast iron, this holder has been designed to hold a large box of matchsticks that can easily be dispensed from the handy lip at its base. Designed to be wall mounted, this holder is the perfect way to optimise the space surrounding your fireplace whilst adding an integral layer of safety and practicality. This matchbox holder features a beautifully ornate design that will also add a sense of style to any fireplace.

    This product has been designed to age naturally and develop its own patina over time. For authenticity, this product is supplied unlacquered and has, instead, been expertly oil waxed. This oil serves as a basic protective layer against moisture however, if exposed to the outdoor elements for prolonged periods of time, this item will develop a surface rust. If required, the wax layer can be removed using a light oil such as WD40 with a fine-grade wire wool and then re-finished with a metal-based paint.
